Our Beige Granite Setts, cleft on five sides with a sawn upper in a flamed & tumbled finish – offering excellent slip resistance. Characteristically this Portuguese Granite will be a warm buff/beige in tone with silver & white speckles along with dark grey/black spots. Occasionally some very small amounts of iron oxide may be present. These are positive attributes that enhance the appearance of stone. We do not recommend that these products be butt jointed. We strongly recommend that this granite be primed using a suitable bond bridge prior to being lad to the mortar bedding layer We recommend a nominal joint width of 10-15mm. These gaps should then be grouted with a suitable external grout or with Flowpoint. We recommend mixing paving from crates prior to installation. Always order an additional 10% to allow for wastage, cuts and the occasional piece which you may not like the look of.
